One study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology found that people who were willing to experience more pain and discomfort were more likely to achieve their goals. This is because they were more willing to take risks and push themselves outside of their comfort zones.
Another study published in the journal Emotion found that individuals who were more willing to experience negative emotions like fear and anxiety were more likely to pursue their goals and achieve success.
